Vacancy: Support Worker – Trafficking Project

Responsible to: Service Manager

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £18,500 – £21,000 (dependent on experience)


Ashiana holds a sub-contract with the Salvation Army to provide high quality support, outreach and accommodation service to women who have been trafficked into the UK for the purposes of sexual exploitation or domestic servitude.

The post holder will support accommodation clients in Rotherham and undertake outreach support across the region. This support will include:

  • To support clients to access their entitlements as potential victims of trafficking
  • To support recovery through the provision of safety planning, support, information, signposting and advocacy.
  • To promote independent living and make timely referrals to move-on accommodation or resettlement support.
  • To assist service users to exit prostitution and trafficking situations in a safe and positive way
